Tints & Tones - A day in the life of an artist.

Here is a short video about Sarthak sharing his journey with us.

Sarthak has been intensely passionate about art since his early teens and has honed the fundamentals of fine art with immense perseverance over several years. He has been painting professionally on variety of themes for more than 30 years. Through his commendable series of contemporary work on Rajasthan, Mythology, Mother Teresa and more recently on spiritual harmony, Sarthak, brings to us, the artistic interpretation of his most intimate feelings about the true essence of India. Sarthak doesn't see himself as a creator rather as an interpreter of God's creations.

Sarthak is adept in revealing his innermost reflections in oil, water, charcoal, ink & mix media and each medium brilliantly  indicates contentment, exhilaration, tranquility, music & mysticism on canvas. If you observe his vignettes, the power of linear lines - both stated and unstated, fluidly enhance the subject.

Apart from being an accomplished artist, Sarthak is also a gifted musician and spends hours playing Hawaiian guitar, his favourite instrument. He also enjoys Rabindra Sangeet and spends his weekends going through his huge collection of old records & cassettes.

What inspired us the most was the fact that at the toughest possible time, when most would prefer the security of a stable job, Sarthak with the support of his wife Sikha, chose to quit and follow his dream of pursuing art full-time. He is a testament to the fact that people who pursue their dreams and don't give up when things get hard are rewarded for their passion & perseverance.
